DESCRIPTION:In conjunction with the City of Florence Environmental Management Advisory Committee (EMAC)\, the Master Recyclers of Florence will be collecting clean and dry and sorted plastics – Number 2\, 4 and 5 – Tubs\, lids\, jugs\, jars\, bottles and food containers. LABELS DO NOT HAVE TO BE REMOVED. But your name and address MUST be removed from any prescription containers.\nThe City of Florence EMAC will be hosting an Arbor Day Event at the same time from 10 am until 2 pm at the Florence Senior Center.\nPlease make sure your plastics are clean and dry and sorted by number. No plastic bags will be collected\, and number 1 and 2 bottles will not be collected as they are now accepted in your comingle bin and at the transfer station in mixed recycling. Thank you for recycling and keeping the Florence Waterways plastic free!
