SUMMARY:Free Compost Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Florence Food Share is hosting a free compost workshop on Saturday\, May 4\, from 10 a.m. to noon. The workshop is open to the public and will be held in the production garden behind the pantry building at 2190 Spruce St. in Florence. \nOregon State University Extension Service and Lane County Master Gardener volunteers will provide the training. This hands-on workshop is suitable for beginning to experienced composters. Topics will cover the basics of how composting works\, which materials to use\, and different methods and types of compost bins available.
