DESCRIPTION:REGISTER AT THE LINK BELOW!\nCrew Leader: Noelle\nMax Size of Crew: 12\nHike Distance: 1 mile\nElevation Gain: 30 feet\nHike Intensity: Low\nWork Intensity: Low\nWork Type: brushing\n  \nProject Information: \nWe will be doing brushing maintenance (clearing the trail corridor) using weed whackers\, loppers\, and hand saws. We will work at a gentle pace\, enjoy the forest landscape\, and take some time for lunch. \nHiking information: \nWe will meet at the Holman Vista Day Use Area and hike about 1 mile working along the way. It is a gentle paced loop with about 30 feet of elevation gain and we will work together as a group. \nYou should plan to participate in this trail party for its entirety. For safety reasons\, please do not arrive late or expect to be able to leave early. \nEvent details: \nDetailed event information\, including directions to the meeting location\, will be provided to registrants via email 48 hours prior to the event. If you’re volunteering for the first time\, read this blog by a volunteer to know what to expect at your first trail party. \nWhat to bring: \n\nPlenty of water\nSnacks/lunch\nWork gloves if you have them (loaner gloves available)\nAny medications or emergency supplies you may need\nSunscreen + insect repellent\nA pack to bring all of this with you on trail\nTKO provides all tools and personal protective equipment (hard hats\, gloves\, glasses)\nNeed gear? TKO has clothes\, boots\, camping gear\, and more available for loan.
