SUMMARY:2025 Volunteer Celebration Event with the Florence Area Community Coalition
DESCRIPTION:Once again\, the Florence Area Community Coalition (FACC) invites organizations from across the region to sent their amazing volunteers and staff to an event that honors their contributions to the community. This year’s event will be held at the Florence Event Center on April 23rd from 1:00 to 3:00PM. Elizabeth Thompson\, Executive Director of the Oregon Coast Humane Society\, is the Keynote Speaker.\nAll community volunteers are welcome!\nTickets are $15 per person or $90 per table of eight attendees.\nDuring the event\, a slide-show of photographs of volunteers in action is shown. Please send any photos you would like to share by April 11 to florenceareacc@gmail.com. Tables will be provided where participating organizations may share their informational and promotional items and volunteer opportunities.

DESCRIPTION:Register and event details here!\nCrew Leader: Noelle W.\nMax Size of Crew: 12\nHike Distance: up to 1 -2miles\nElevation Gain: 295 feet\nHike Intensity: Low\nWork Intensity: Moderate\nWork Type: Mix work of tread work\, brushing\, aggregate work\n  \nProject Information: \nThe main task of the event will be updated closer to the trail party. Sweet Creek Falls work will be an onoging project with the Siuslaw Watershed Council doing a variety of different tread work to improve the condition of the trail. We will work at a gentle pace\, enjoy the forest landscape\, and take some time for lunch. \nHiking information: \nWe will meet at the Sweet Creek Falls Trailhead and hike in about 1/3 to a 1/2 mile into the worksite. We will be walking over rocky terrian\, bridges\, and catwalks. \nYou should plan to participate in this trail party for its entirety. For safety reasons\, please do not arrive late or expect to be able to leave early. \nEvent details: \nDetailed event information\, including directions to the meeting location\, will be provided to registrants via email 48 hours prior to the event.
