This year’s Community Scavenger Hunt is sponsored by the Central Oregon Coast Board of Realtors. Thank you! \nThe game will go live on Friday\, July 3\, at 8 a.m. and close on Sunday\, July 19\, at midnight. These dates encompass both the Fourth of July holiday and the 2026 Florence Community Block Party on Friday\, July 17. \nHow it Works:\nComplete the missions to earn points! The top three to five players with the most points will receive a Florence Swag Bag. \nOur community scavenger hunt will have three types of missions: \n\nKnowledge Missions: Participants will have the opportunity to answer questions and riddles.\nPhoto Missions: Photo missions will direct participants to take photos at the Block Party\, with members of our community\, at Florence landmarks\, or just doing fun activities.\nVideo Missions: The video missions challenge participants to complete fun videos at the Block Party\, with members of our community\, or at Florence landmarks\, at home\, or around the community.\nBonus Missions: We have incorporated some special bonus opportunities in the photo and video missions. We will work at a gentle pace\, enjoy the forest landscape\, and take some time for lunch. \nHiking information: \nPrepare to hike several miles while carrying tools and packs and working as we go. The hike can be up to 2 miles and several hundred feet in elevation. \nYou should plan to participate in this trail party for its entirety. For safety reasons\, please do not arrive late or expect to be able to leave early. \nEvent details: \nDetailed event information\, including directions to the meeting location\, will be provided to registrants via email 48 hours prior to the event. DESCRIPTION:JULY FIRST FRIDAY: Drop in for family friendly crafts\, games\, and our usual community potluck. We’ll have the patio open\, weather permitting. Come hang out and celebrate the United State of Interdependence with us!  \n__________ \nKick back and mingle at our First Friday After Hours—A great way to learn about the Studio and connect with creative healing community. \nYou can look forward to displays of live painting from local and regional artists\, updates on what’s new with our Gallery\, classes and upcoming activities\, fun and danceable music\, an intimate and welcoming space for movement\, connecting and fun\, and of course our community potluck.  \nYou can also expect an open easel or two for you to join in the art making fun\, and the occasional special showcase or performance in a variety of wellness and expressive arts media.  \nAll ages hour between 5 to 6pm – BYOB afterwards. We will have coffee\, tea and water available in addition to refreshments. On May 1 we be celebrating May Day with a community BBQ.
