The live online workshop will cover topics like staying calm and confident when you don’t feel like it and preventing\, avoiding or de-escalating dangerous situations. The program also covers setting and protecting personal boundaries and managing emotional triggers to think clearly. The program hopes to help participants to stay emotionally safe in the face of rude\, thoughtless\, threatening or offensive comments.\nTo join online\, email pflagflo@gmail.com to get an electronic link to the program. The program is approximately one hour\, followed by Q&A. To attend in person\, Florence PFLAG’s regular meeting site is located at the corner of Second and Kingwood\, one block west of Highway 101.
