DESCRIPTION:PFLAG meeting moved to October 20 \nJust for this month\, PFLAG Florence has moved its monthly meeting to the third Monday of the month and members will gather October 20\, with a new starting time of 6 p.m. at Florence United Methodist Church\, 2nd and Kingwood. The meeting should conclude by 7:30 p.m. \nApart from a review of its past fiscal year and introduction of new officers\, the focus will be on Native American History\, both locally and in relation to the LGBTQ+ community. A brief discussion of new opportunities for outreach also will be featured. Refreshments will be served. \nYou do not have to be a member of PFLAG to attend. All meetings are free and open to the public. The board will especially welcome ideas and help with new initiatives. \nPFLAG Florence is an affiliate of a national organization that is the country’s largest organization working to create a caring\, just\, and affirming world for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them.

Expect works inspired by crisp fall colors\, harvest bounty\, and the spooky delights of scarecrows\, goblins\, and “The Great Pumpkin.”\nArtists embrace the theme in a wide range of styles\, from whimsical and lighthearted to eerie and thought-provoking.
