DESCRIPTION:NOVEMBER FIRST FRIDAY: Join us for a special ritual evening to honor loved ones and spirits who have passed on\, after the fashion of Day of the Dead\, All Souls Day\, etc. \nWe’ll begin with a brief meditation to get grounded and help metabolize and release grief and loss\, followed by community potluck and a pleasant evening of sharing stories\, music and memories. There will be an altar set up to honor a cherished person\, pet or place. \nPlease bring any mementoes\, photos\, music\, stories etc. that you’d like to include\, and a dish to share – especially any food or drink that have been family favorites. \nWe look forward to seeing you this Friday!  \nFirst Friday After Hours at Serene Abundance Studio are a chance for our creative healing community to get together\, enjoy some social time\, plug in to what’s new at our Studio and Gallery\, network\, and have fun. We feature a different presentation or activity each month that showcases the creative work of our Studio artists\, and the larger Central Coast region. Whether it’s live painting demos\,a live DJ\, Crystal Singing Bowls\, make and take crafts\, or just getting to have some inspiring conversations\, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!\nFree and open to the public\, all ages hour from 5-6\, BYOB after 6pm. RSVP’s are helpful\, but not required. Bring a dish or drink to share at our community potluck and have a chance to relax in our comfortable space surrounded by the best in regional visionary and expressive works of art. We look forward to seeing you Fridays!

SUMMARY:CoastBusters Walk for Breast Cancer
DESCRIPTION:Join CoastBusters for its annual Walk for Breast Cancer on Saturday\, September 26\, 2026\, at Newport High School or Saturday\, October 3\, 2026\, at Siuslaw Middle School in Florence. Registration opens July 1 at CoastBustersWalk.org. \nCoastBusters is a local nonprofit organization founded by breast cancer survivors to support local breast cancer patients and their families throughout Lincoln County and the coastal communities of Lane County. Through community walks and other fundraising efforts\, the organization provides financial assistance for essential expenses such as transportation\, groceries\, rent\, utilities\, and other needs that help ease the financial burden of a breast cancer diagnosis. Funds raised stay local\, and help patients focus on healing.  No one should face breast cancer alone.
