SUMMARY:Embodied Empathy Yoga
DESCRIPTION:What stories does your body tell? What can you discover through breath\, movement\, and listening? In this playshop on creative relating\, you will learn how to connect to your body in a deeply resonant way while creatively accessing and expressing empathy for others. \nThe evening will blend gentle yoga and the practice of Embodied Empathy\, where we briefly share what’s current in our lives and a partner reflects this using gesture\, movement\, words and sound. You’ll tap into your inner empath as you physically\, emotionally\, and creatively integrate movement. Our unique combination of yoga postures\, breathing\, sharing ourselves and being reflected through Embodied Empathy exercises offers a depth of connection to ourselves and others in new uplifting ways. \nAbout the Instructors: \nJudy Dolmatch\, MSW\, LCSW\, a psychotherapist and instructor of Improvisational and Playback Theater\, and Christi Krug\, Yoga and Creativity Coach\, are teaming up to bring you this beautiful and heartfelt collaboration.
