DESCRIPTION:Seussical is a fantastical\, magical\, musical extravaganza! \nC.R.O.W. will present 6 Performances at the Florence Events Center! \nFriday\, April 17th at 7 pm\nSaturday\, April 18th at 7 pm\nSunday\, April 19th at 2 pm\nFriday\, April 24th at 7 pm\nSaturday\, April 25th at 7 pm\nSunday\, April 26th at 2 pm \nTickets are on sale now through the Florence Event Center Box Office. 541-997-1994 or www.eventcenter.org. \nABOUT THE SHOW: \nTony winners\, Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty (Lucky Stiff\, My Favorite Year\, Once on This Island\, Ragtime)\, have lovingly brought to life all of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters\, including Horton the Elephant\, The Cat in the Hat\, Gertrude McFuzz\, lazy Mayzie and a child with a big imagination – Jojo. The colorful characters transport us from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos. \nThe Cat in the Hat tells the story of Horton\, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust that contains the Whos\, including Jojo\, a Who child sent off to military school for thinking too many “thinks.” Horton faces a double challenge: not only must he protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers\, but he must guard an abandoned egg\, left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule\, danger\, kidnapping and a trial\, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. \nUltimately\, the powers of friendship\, loyalty\, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant. You are all invited to attend. For people who cannot attend I have added a funding page below. Please share it with your friends and family. \nTunnel to Towers Foundation exists to recognize and repay the sacrifice of our Nation’s military heroes and our first responders. By providing mortgage free homes to surviving spouses and children\, building smart homes for severely injured heroes and provide housing for homeless veterans. \nHelp us show gratitude by ensuring those who risk everything for our country receive the support and dignity they deserve \nThank You\nConnie \n
