DESCRIPTION:The Siuslaw/Western Lane County Seed and Scion Exchange is a free local event open to the public.\nThere are three main purposes for this event.\n1) Encourage and promote individual and regional resilience regarding our local food supply. \n2)This event will offer an opportunity for local and regional sharing of seeds and scions collected from and adapted to our local area. This includes sharing and distributing\, heirloom seeds\, heritage fruits\, and developing landraces. We will also hope to offer a selection of fruit tree scions to root or graft. LABELS DO NOT HAVE TO BE REMOVED. But your name and address MUST be removed from any prescription containers.\nThe City of Florence EMAC will be hosting an Arbor Day Event at the same time from 10 am until 2 pm at the Florence Senior Center.\nPlease make sure your plastics are clean and dry and sorted by number. No plastic bags will be collected\, and number 1 and 2 bottles will not be collected as they are now accepted in your comingle bin and at the transfer station in mixed recycling. Thank you for recycling and keeping the Florence Waterways plastic free!
