Project Information:
We will be cutting back the vegetation along this trail using a weed whacker, loppers, hand saw, and potentially a hedger. We will work at a gentle pace, enjoy the forest landscape, and take some time for lunch.
Hiking information:
We will meet at the Taylor Dunes Trailhead parking lot and hike along the loop for 1.64 miles and end up at the Carter Lake Campground. We will then walk the rest of the way back to the trailhead along the road. There is about 100 feet of elevation gain and loss throughout this trail.
You should plan to participate in this trail party for its entirety. For safety reasons, please do not arrive late or expect to be able to leave early.
