FACC VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION CELEBRATION

After a three year hiatus, FACC returns to host its annual Volunteer Recognition Event celebrating and honoring our Western Lane County volunteers.

Until 2020, FACC invited volunteers to a special event in April in their honor to celebrate and thank them. At the last event in 2019, 175 volunteers attended and were recognized for their valuable and valued contributions. This is the first time since then that we can gather together again and throw a party in their honor. Cindy Wobbe, volunteer extraordinaire, is our Keynote Speaker this year.

A highlight of the event is presenting a scholarship to a graduating high school senior with a history of volunteerism. The student’s story is often the highlight of the event.

This year one of our community organizations will also present some national volunteer awards.

The cost is $8 per person or $60 for a table of 8. Sponsorships are welcome  – for tables for specific organizations or for volunteers for organizations you may never have heard about. A $100 sponsorship will purchase a table for 8. Contributions of door prizes for volunteers are also welcome.
