FACC March 4th Meeting features Saint Vince dePaul’s HOPE Community Homes manufactured housing program

March 4 @ 10:45 am - 12:00 pm
Hybrid Event

The March 4th 2026 regular meeting of the Florence Area Community Coalition features Jacon Taylor, Development Manager with Saint Vincent dePaul’s HOPE Community Homes, Oregon’s first non-profit factory-built home manufacturer.  He will explain their innovative contribution to solving our affordable housing crisis.

Learn how they built Oregon’s first non-profit state-of-the-art 100,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Eugene. And how since 2024 they have offered factory-built durable and high-quality manufactured homes for low-income Oregon communities and victims of natural disasters. Learn how their ENERGY STAR NEEM+ certification may qualify for energy-saving incentives.

FACC’s regular monthly meetings start at 10:45 am in the Bromley Room of the Siuslaw Public Library District, 1460 9th Street in Florence, and adjourn by noon. Hybrid meetings offer an opportunity to participate with Zoom. After the speaker and a short business meeting, all those attending, whether in the room or joining by Zoom, have an opportunity to share upcoming events, needs, and opportunities to learn or participate.

FACC’s mission is to improve the quality of life in Western Lane County through partnerships, networking, volunteerism, community involvement, education, and awareness. As an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) membership organization it has been at this work for over 25 years.

FACC meetings are free and open to the public. Light refreshments are served. Membership dues are $50 for agencies and organizations and $25 for individuals wishing to join.
