Florence Arbor Day Celebration

Trees, Trees – It’s time to honor what makes our area beautiful.  The City of Florence’s Enviromental Management Advisory Committee (EMAC) invites you to our Arbor Day celebration on Saturday, April 30th at Bay Street (Gazebo) Park from 10 – 2.  We will have speakers, informational handouts, a drawing for a half cubic yard of Flo-Gro fertilizer and photo contest prizes. At just before 2pm we will go to the Chamber of Commerce garden area to dedicate Florence’s own Heritage Tree – originating from a specimen that survived the bombing of Hiroshima.
