Florence Area Community Coalition November “Help for the Holidays” Meeting

FACC’s November meeting features “Help for the Holidays,” an opportunity for local service providers and organizations to share their holiday plans and events and to reach out to each other and the community for volunteers or other resources to bring holiday help and cheer to area families and individuals. This meeting will feature deadringer “Santa Claus” Lee Bliven II, who will be coming to PeaceHarbor Peace Health departments and clinics later in the season. He will also discuss Lane County Senior Support Coalition’s Senior Emergency Support Fund.   Working with our local DHS Aging and Disability Resource Connection, they can provide insurance copayments, denture or hearing aid repairs, utility payments to avoid disconnection, and rent assistence to prevent eviction.

All organizations and groups with events are encouraged to attend. Whether you’re able to come or not, FACC will help share out information about your event.
