Free Pruning Workshop in Florence – OSU Master Gardeners

Join the Lane County Master Gardener Pruning Specialists as they teach participants techniques to prune fruit trees in Florence, on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 10 a.m. – noon. This outdoor event will be held rain or shine – hot coffee and donuts will be provided! Location: corner of Rhody Drive and Juniper Street in Florence.

Classes are presented by trained OSU Master Gardener Pruning Specialists! They will cover proper pruning equipment, important pruning principles, and best times to prune. They are eager to share their knowledge and experience with you and want your class experience to be fun, as well as educational. You do not need to bring pruning tools to the class, but you might want to bring your camera for pictures.

We are a hardy bunch, so classes will be held rain, shine, or snow; please dress accordingly.
