North Fork Siuslaw Birding Paddle

Come for a paddle to experience birds from a whole new vantage point on the North Fork of the Siuslaw River.

McKenzie River Trust and the Siuslaw Watershed Council are providing a free fun afternoon on the water; enjoy a guided canoe and kayak trip on the north fork of the Siuslaw river with a focus on local bird species! This event is open to all levels of paddling experience.

Canoes and Kayaks will be provided; when reserving a spot on Eventbrite, please choose the ticket corresponding to the type of watercraft you would like to utilize. Canoes can hold up to three participants. Tandem kayaks can hold two. Single-seater kayaks have closed and open-topped options. Life vests will also be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own if they prefer. Binoculars are recommended.
