Project Information:
We will be doing tread mainttence (improving the trail surface) using rakes and digging tools. We will work at a gentle pace, enjoy the forest landscape, and take some time for lunch.
Hiking information:
The hike in total will be two miles. We will meet at the Cape Perpetua Visitor Center and walk to the start of the trail where we will beging our work. The trail is mostly flat with some sections where is gets narrow due to trail erosion.
You should plan to participate in this trail party for its entirety. For safety reasons, please do not arrive late or expect to be able to leave early.
