PFLAG Meeting

PFLAG meets December 8 at 6 p.m.

By way of reminder, PFLAG Florence has moved its monthly meeting to a new time – 6 to 7:30 p.m. – but still meeting on the second Monday of the month at Florence United Methodist Church, located on the corner of Second and Kingwood, one block west of Highway 101.

Meetings and programs are free and open to the public. PFLAG invites you to meet its new president and board to hear about exciting initiatives for outreach, including a possible Coastal Pride Summit involving LGBTQ+ groups from Coos Bay to Newport for an event to be hosted in Florence in October 2026.

Ideas are important to PFLAG’s continued local mission. It’s important to hear from as many friends, allies and LGBTQ+ people in the community to best serve the region. If you’re interested in serving as secretary starting in January, come to the meeting and put your name in nomination. You don’t have to be a current member to do so.

Mark your calendar, come share ideas, and bring a friend. Refreshments are available.
