Traditional Swedish Fika Class

Experience a Traditional Swedish Fika with Kathy Johnson on Saturday, Nov. 22nd, from 10 am – 1 pm at INSPIRE Culinary Academy. In this delightful hands-on class, you’ll experience the cherished Swedish tradition of Fika — a daily ritual of slowing down to enjoy coffee, conversation, and sweet treats with friends.

You’ll learn to prepare a variety of classic Swedish fare, including open-faced sandwiches, Cardamom Buns, Meringue Torte, and an assortment of traditional cookies.

We’ll wrap up by gathering together for an authentic Fika moment — sipping coffee, savoring your creations, and enjoying good company. A true taste of Sweden!
