You and your family are invited to experience the excitement and wonder of a very special night in Bethlehem. It will be a fun, free event for young and old alike and everyone will become a part of the action it will also prove to be a special spiritual experience for your family and each person will leave with the true feeling of Christmas and the joy of the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Be prepared to experience the sounds and bustle of the open market in Old Bethlehem, the foods of the time (bread fruits bagels cheese etc.), the frustration of Joseph and Mary as there was no room and the simple majesty of the birth of the King of Kings.
Special request: we encourage you to come dressed like the people of Bethlehem might have dressed and join in the spirit of the evening. Bring a blanket to sit on in the marketplace.
The festival is held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ local building located at the corner of Munsel Lake Road and North Fork Road (2705 Munsel Lake Road) in Florence. This is a free event for the entire family. For questions, contact Sherry at (509)540-4880
