Using collage, paint, stamping, texture, and more, you’ll explore the many layers that make up your heart — your stories, your emotions, your love — and transform them into a meaningful piece of art.

About The Instructor:

Heather Rose LeCompte is an award-winning artist whose work bridges contemporary folk art and abstract mixed media. Drawing from her background in counseling and expressive arts therapy, she explores themes of memory, identity, healing, and nature through vibrant, layered compositions. A licensed professional counselor and expressive arts therapist, she also writes and illustrates children’s books that nurture imagination and emotional awareness. Based in Eugene, Oregon, Heather continues to create, exhibit, and teach at the intersection of art, storytelling, and healing.
