City Club of Florence welcomes Florence ORganizes as its July 2026 Guest Speaker.
Florence ORganizes (FOR): “Stronger Together, Building Community.”
Join FOR coordinators Nora Kent, Lisa Walter and Priscilla Washington as they share FOR’s history and how their group has evolved over the years by maintaining their commitment to the greater good of the community. FOR supporters will also come and share their positive experiences.
The City Club is a nonpartisan, civic discussion group that meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 1:30pm in the Bromley Room of the Siuslaw Public Library. Each month features a different guest speaker, who answers questions from the audience following their presentation.
City Club meetings are free and open to the public. Meetings are later broadcast on KXCR-FM 90.7 community radio. The Siuslaw Public Library does not sponsor the City Club or endorse the views of guest speakers.
