2023 DAYS OF CARING
Each year, United Way mobilizes hundreds of people across Lane County to volunteer with local nonprofits. Organizations benefit from hard-working volunteers, and volunteers get to enjoy coming together to make a tangible impact in their community!
Join us for this year’s Days of Caring, taking place September 21-23, 2023!

Volunteer Registration: August 14- September 10
You can sign up for projects starting Monday, August 14, through end-of-day Sunday, September 10.
Signing up for a group?
Please note that all group member names must be submitted by September 1. If not, we will release any held volunteer slots back to the community so that other volunteers can sign up, and to prevent any last-minute no-shows. We, and our nonprofit partners, thank you!
Choosing your project(s)
Some projects may fill up fast, so be sure to sign up as soon as you’re able. We encourage you and your team to pick a few favorites from the list so that if your number one project gets scooped, you still have other great options to choose from! There are many great projects (over 60!) to choose from, and our nonprofit partners look forward to having your support!

Buy a Days of Caring T-Shirt!
Interested in a 2023 Days of Caring T-Shirt to wear at your project? See below for this year’s design. Purchase yours through McKenzie SewOn here! You can also add your organization’s logo to the back of the shirt for a small additonal charge. T-Shirt orders close September 3.

Look what’s new- Volunteer Socials!
Interested in connecting with other volunteers over coffee or beer during Days of Caring? Join us for one of our drop-in socials on Saturday, September 23 – with two in Eugene/Springfield, and one in Cottage Grove! If you’re interested in possibly attending, please fill out this interest form so we can gauge how many people may be interested. This is not an official RSVP; invitations and registration to follow.
