In Lane County, 60% of our students aren’t reading proficiently by third grade, which negatively impacts their ability to graduate on time. Thankfully, there’s something we can do about it.
Join us to learn about the challenges keeping kids from reading proficiently, meet some of the amazing work happening in to support Florence and Mapleton students, and learn how you can support literacy efforts for West Lane County readers.
At this event, we’ll hear from:
-
Sue Wilson, Superintendent, Mapleton School District
-
Vanessa Buss, Executive Director, Boys & Girls Club of Western Lane County
-
Noreen J. Dunnells, President and CEO, United Way of Lane County
Limited in-person spots available for this free community event: register today!
