Master Recyclers of Florence Plastic Collection Event – 2 , 4, 5 Plastics

In conjunction with the City of Florence Environmental Management Advisory Committee (EMAC), the Master Recyclers of Florence will be collecting clean and dry and sorted plastics – Number 2, 4 and 5 – Tubs, lids, jugs, jars, bottles and food containers. LABELS DO NOT HAVE TO BE REMOVED. But your name and address MUST be removed from any prescription containers.
The City of Florence EMAC will be hosting a Black and White Event at the same time from 10 am until 2 pm at the Siuslaw Middle School.
Please make sure your plastics are clean and dry and sorted by number. No plastic bags will be collected, and number 1 and 2 bottles will not be collected as they are now accepted in your comingle bin and at the transfer station in mixed recycling.
