Siuslaw Candidate Forum

Join Siuslaw Tale Spinners Toastmasters Club for a political candidate forum at 2:30 pm on Saturday October 3, 2026 at the Siuslaw Public Library in Florence. This event is Free.

Candidates for Local, County, State and Federal offices have been invited to participate and eleven have confirmed attendance. Each candidate has 5 to 7 minutes to share information about themselves and their key policy ideas. There will be no questions but attendees can meet with the candidates after the forum.

Toastmasters is a non-profit organization empowering individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders. Every meeting is a safe opportunity to practice planned speeches and unplanned responses, give and receive feedback, and step into leadership roles. The Siuslaw Tale Spinners is a hybrid club meeting the first three Thursdays of each month from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Port of Siuslaw Office at 100 Harbor Street. Guests are invited to attend in-person or remotely via Zoom.
