Join Karuna Sams of Karuna Doulas for a discussion of death doulas, including what they are and why you might want one. Participants will learn how a doula can provide guidance for a peaceful and sacred end of life journey. Sponsored by Siuslaw Public Library.

Sue DeMarinis will visit the library to discuss her new book, Hidden in Haarlem: Love and Survival in Nazi-Occupied Holland. This novel is based on true stories of the Dutch resistance in World War II. The program will include a reading, discussion of the book, and an author signing.
