This event is a fund raiser where monies raised benefit people living their cancer journey…rather than funding research or a cure. It is a three mile walk on the track at the middle school on Oak Street. There are several opportunities to support to event, its sponsors, and its beneficiaries. Coast Busters was started by two women who met during their cancer journey. It took place in Newport last year, and this year Newport and Florence. Next year, who knows? Everyone has been touched by someone’s cancer journey…this is a uniting opportunity to make a difference for someone.
