Acorn Circle: Cultural Presentation

November 8 @ 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Free

This free series on Native American culture is presented by Acorn Circle and the Siuslaw Public Library.

Join us for a wonderful cultural presentation with Deitrich Peters of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde!

Join us at the Siuslaw Library in November, in honor of Native American Heritage Month, with Deitrich Peters of the Grand Ronde Tribe. Deitrich (Deitz) has graciously agreed to share elements of his regalia and will play flute music, talk about his culture, and answer questions. SCEC Executive Director Karen Rainsong will attend and display items of Kalapuya material culture. Bring the whole family. We may have coloring sheets and other items for the kids to take home.

FREE
Seating is limited, please arrive 10 minutes early.
