Come and make a Japanese Kokedama (Moss Ball) with a tree sapling to plant at home on Oct. 17 at the Siuslaw Public Library (1460 Ninth Street, Florence) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Grow Closer Nursery and the City of Florence EMAC will host the free workshop and share information about planting trees and native plants in October—the best time to plant!
