Walk on the Wild Side – Florence Walktober

Lane Council of Governments and Walktober Lane County have brought back Walktober – a month-long celebration of walking, connection, and exploration across Lane County!

The City of Florence is participating with Florence Walktober 2026: Walk on the Wild Side on Sunday, October 18, from 10 am to 2 pm.

Join members of Florence Public Arts Committee and Transportation Committee, along with the Community & Economic Development Departments, outside the Florence Events Center, 715 Quince St. There will be maps to local art walks, parks, Oregon Coast Quests, and several guided tours of public art and the Siuslaw Estuary Trail.

This event is open to all ages and our guided walks are accessible. Plus, there will be prizes!

Bring your pups! Inside the events center, the Florence Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting the Coastal Canine Classic (separate admission required).
