Winter Solstice Lantern Walk
An annual Florence tradition! Walk with us as we “carry the light” through the longest night of the year, celebrating the return of the Sun.
WHERE:1st & Harbor at the Bridgeport Market East entrance
WHEN: Gather at 4:45, kicking off at 5:00pm.
WHO: All Ages, walk will be wheelchair accessible.
Expect to take around 20-40 minutes at a leisurely pace. Event will be held rain or shine, so make sure to dress for the weather.
Lanterns, light up toys, costumery, music, song and dance and general merriment are encouraged!
We’ll meander along the Boardwalk and through Old Town, and experience the annual light displays, with magical discoveries and photo opportunities along the way.
We will be returning to Serene Abundance Studio Space on Maple street afterwards for warming up, cocoa, cider and socializing.
